Austin Restaurants With Playgrounds: The best places in Austin to dine and play.
Grabbing a bite out can be a real adventure with kids – and not always in a good way. I suppose a lot really depends on the temperament of your child. Dinner out with our spirited three year old involves far too much sprinting for my taste. Call me crazy, but I really enjoy being able to stay seated for at least 60% of my meal.
The many Austin restaurants with playgrounds have made meeting that goal a little bit easier. He plays. I eat. We both leave happy. I especially love restaurants where the playground is well-enclosed and right next to the seating area. If it’s too far from my table, the playground just guarantees that I’ll never get a minute alone with my food.
