As I unloaded the clean dishes…middle finger in a splint mind you…I reach for one of our new Ginsu steak knives, it slips out of my grasp. I automatically reach for it with my right had while trying to “catch” it with my left! yup, I’m a klutz. My left hand somehow connects with the tip of the knife, just below the thumb joint of the left hand as my right hand…third finger pointing up in a splint…slams into the butt of the handle, pushing it all the way to the bone! Ouch. Then, in a moment of absolute stubbornness–Refuse to go to the ER, (it was a full moon payday Friday night in a Military town!) and just Krazy-glue the wound. Lesson learned! lol.
