All You Need is Love Bridal Shower

My sister, Sarah, is getting married this October, so last week I helped throw her an amazing bridal shower with the help of my other sisters, my mom, and Sarah's maid of honor, Danielle.  The house was dressed from top to bottom with decorations.  Paper flowers, multi colored garland, and colored pinwheels peeked out from every corner.  The theme we chose for Sarah was "All You Need is Love".  It was celebrated in a rainbow of bold pastels.

 Centerpieces

Sarah's favorite flower is the billy ball, so we filled small square vases with them, and then spelled out "All You Need is Love" in aqua colored lollipops.

On to the food! We laid out quite the luncheon spread for this shower.  The buffet table featured a strawberry spinach salad, a mandarin almond spring salad, three quiches, and finger sandwiches with fruit & brie, smoked salmon & herb butter, and roasted pepper & hummus.

The dessert table was even more elaborate. It was an explosion of sweets!

French Macaroons

We had a gorgeous plate full of handmade French macaroons,

and a buttercream frosted, fruit filled layer cake topped with billy balls!

Cake Pops

My mom handmade these amazing wedding cake pops to top off the table, and came up with the cleverest display, a faux wedding gift.

All in all it was a beautiful day, filled with amazing details, and, of coure, plenty of
