Just for fun, I thought I might share a few songs that I've been singing to baby over the past couple of weeks. The internets say that Babeleo can hear me now, and that he'll start reacting to simple melodies. He might even find them comforting after he arrives. But what do you sing to a little inside baby?
At first it was hard to connect the dots, but my ever-shifting perspective has started making it easy for me to interpret old favorites in a new way. Spatterings of lyrics hit me in a new way when I think of them being sung to a baby instead of a boyfriend. Again, I get the sense that getting to know Babeleo is like falling in love, head over heels, the way I did when I was just a kid.
