I replace mine at the first sign of a change in color or odor, or transparency. The best way to handle it is to keep your main stash in the fridge and just leave a few days worth at a time in the bathroom.]]></description>

Yes! You can definitely make either of those changes, or both. It might spoil a little more easily without the vinegar, but if you are keeping it in the fridge and making small batches it should be ok.]]></description>
