Long before I became a mother I developed an ardent admiration for mama blogs. My first love was a now-retired blog called Childbearing Hipster. It's tagline was "My breast milk brings all the boys to the yard" and the writing was lush with both humor and honesty. I fell head over heels for the niche, devouring blogs that shared this wonderful talent for sharing a slice of something as complex and bittersweet as parenthood.
I've accumulated quite a list of favorites since then, so I thought I'd take a moment to share them with you all as well.
