Vitamix Explorian Series Product Review: Making smoothies, sauces, soups, and more
I don’t often share product reviews here on Mary Makes Good, but when I was approached with an opportunity to review the Vitamix E310 Explorian Series Blender I jumped at it. You see, I love a good appliance, and blenders are one of those things that really do get better when you leap from one brand to another. I’ve killed several more modest blenders over the years, so I was excited to try one out with a little extra oomf.
The Vitamix E310 Explorian Series Blender comes with a 48 ounce container – a great size for making medium batches of smoothies, soups, etc., and an ideal size for family cooking. It’s a great tool not only for making purees, but also quickly chopping or dicing fruits and veggies and making chunky soups or salsas. This blender has ten variable speeds plus a pulse feature, giving you lots of control over your recipes.
Personally, my favorite thing about the Vitamix E310 Explorian Series Blender is the power! The two horsepower motor purrs like a kitten, even when tackling tough ingredients. It absolutely pulverizes smoothie ingredients, leaving mixes super smooth. When it comes to sneaking green, leafy vegetables into my son’s diet, smooth smoothies are key!! My kiddo won’t go for anything remotely chunky.
A few more features worth noting: Vitamix blenders come with a five-year warranty that covers all parts, performance, labor, and two-way shipping at no cost to you. It’s powerful motor also makes it capable of self-cleaning. Just add water and a few drops of soap, then the blender can blend itself clean.
You can find the Vitamix E310 Explorian Series Blender online at Amazon, Williams-Sonoma, and Bed Bath & Beyond. It is also available in-store and online at Macy’s, Best Buy, Sur La Table, and Crate & Barrel. You can find a full list of retailers, including locations near you, here.
