Balancing Food On My Dog’s Head

Recently, I became inspired by the collie on Instagram who has become internet-famous for balancing foods on his head.  His owner, Umetatrou, takes adorable pictures of him performing his favorite trick, using things like pears, canned corn, packaged fish, or pretty much anything.  It's awfully cute.

I thought about how cute my dog was, and decided she could totally do this.  I grabbed a clementine, thinking it's size and shape was primo for head balancing.  Apparently Gracie sees clementines as primo for noshing.  Getting her not to eat it was challenge enouh.  Every time it rolled off of her head she and I would race to pick it back up again.  (I didn't always win.) Anyway, it took about an hour of coaxing, rewarding, begging, and pleading, but LOOK!!

She did it!! Gracie, you are a STAR.

She's obviously mastered the clementine.  The question now is what to try next?  Brocolli?  A dinner roll? Decisions. Decisions.
