Have you ever wished that you could learn how to recreate your favorite Pinterest projects with help from the actual blogger who created them? Pinner's is your big chance to so just that. This massive DIY conference brings together the best pinners on the web for two days of classes, lectures, and hands-on workshops for crafters, home cooks, photographers, quilters, and more. And this year, in Dallas and Phoenix, I'll be teaching classes! (Use promo code MARYHELEN to receive 10% off!)

With more than one hundred workshops and classes to choose from, attendees are sure to enjoy days packed with DIY goodness. Learn how to stock up on freezer meals, brush up on your makeup skills, master the art of hand lettering, or try your hand at a custom crafting or quilting project. There are tons of classes to choose from focusing on a huge variety of creative topics.

I love that so many of these sessions involve hands-on work. That means you'll get to take home a whole bundle of handmade projects while gaining new DIY skills in the most effective way possible. I don't know about you – but I've always learned best by doing. The knowledge just sinks in so much better than just reading a book or a blog post.

In addition to the many sessions offered at Pinner's, the conference also boasts a massive trade show and craft market. Attendees can check out the latest in supplies, handmade products, and creative tools and techniques while loading up on samples and free make-and-take projects offered by vendors and exhibitors.

I'm thrilled to be teaching and attending two Pinner's conferences this year. I hope you'll join me in Dallas September 29 and 30, and in Phoenix October 6 and 7. Right now I'm scheduled to lead a workshop on blending homemade spice mixes. We'll be preparing our own rubs, seasoning blends, and curries using a buffet of gorgeous herbs and spices. Students will take home their own custom blends plus a library of recipes to try at home.
