Book Update: The Handmade Mama

We’re getting closer and closer to the release of my next book, The Handmade Mama. Pre-orders are available right now on Amazon.com, and we have an expected release date of May 1, 2018. When we get a bit closer to go-time I’ll start rolling out my own pre-order sale for signed copies.

The Handmade Mama by Mary Helen Leonard

Right now I’m just basking in the glow of this super pretty cover. Ahhhhh.

In case you haven’t heard about this project yet, The Handmade Mama is a collection of skin care recipes, health food recipes, and simple sewing projects for expecting mamas and for baby’s first year. It includes healthy and easy to make foods to keep mama fueled during pregnancy, and simple nourishing first foods for baby – including an all natural allergen-free birthday smash cake.

Skin care projects include belly balm for mommy, homemade diaper cream, and natural baby powder. The sewing projects are all quick and easy projects. The book includes patterns for all kinds of lovely items, like handmade toys and accessories for mama.
